From the classroom to the field, my journey as an on-camera journalist began in 2015 at Hampton University. Since then, I've interned at companies like ABC News and Bravo fresh out of college, worked my way up from Assignment Editor to Digital Producer/MMJ in the #1 market; nominated for an Emmy in this role. I earned a Master’s degree on a full-ride, while also working full-time. Although it was hard, I reached new heights after leaving the news industry. I'm still following my dreams of being an on-camera entertainment journalist, but independently (as host of Rooting for Everybody Black).
